Do you do alterations?
Yes!
For gowns purchased directly from Loulette Bride Studio, we offer $895 Flat Rate Alterations. This means we do all the alterations for you in our studio, and do whatever needs to be done, in as many appointments as it takes! We also love to do alterations on vintage heirloom gowns, so if you have mom’s or grandma’s dress, bring her on in!
We DO NOT do alterations on new, non-Loulette Bride gowns, sorry!
What is a Made to Order gown?
Brand spankin' new!
A Made to Order item is a garment that is made especially for you. Most of our styles are sold this way. Because our styles are made to order, we are often able to customize fabrics, sizes, and other design elements to make your gown perfect for you!
What is a Sample Sale gown and why are they so much less?
Our coolest styles!
A Sample Sale gown is a gown that is the original sample of that style. When one of our styles does not go into production, usually because they are too cool and fun for the masses, we sell the original sample. So, it is a one-of-a-kind gown, off the rack, and may have some very light scuffs from photoshoots. Because of this, all Sample Gowns are 50%-75% off the original price. Sample sale items are perfect for brides who are in a rush, on a budget, or just love a deal!
What sizes do Loulette Bride gowns come in?
Any size you need!
Since each and every Loulette Bride gown is made to order, we can make any style in any size you need. We take your measurements, and create your gown in your size.
How long before my wedding should I buy my Loulette Bride gown?
Typically, a year! But we can make magic happen on a short timeline!
Generally, the best time to start shopping for your dress is about a year out from your wedding date. But, if you are within that time frame already, don’t stress! Since we are local, we are usually able to create dresses pretty quickly, so let us know your timeline and we will make some magic happen!
Sample Sale gowns are off-the-rack, so they are available immediately.
For gowns purchased from the Loulette Bride Studio, orders should be placed at least 8-12 months before your wedding. This allows plenty of time for making your gown, and a stress free time period for alterations.
If your gown was purchased at a Loulette Bride retailer, please check in with your retailer directly for timeline details!
How does Loulette Bride practice integrity, sustainability, and responsibility?
All Day, Every Day!
Loulette Bride was founded on principles of integrity in our design and responsibility in our design and manufacturing process.
Having integrity means we only create original designs, and are incredibly proud of the product we create. We value quality over quantity, and make sure every gown we create is as perfect as it should be, on our bride's most special day.
We know that the garment industry is the second most polluting industry in the world. So, we take responsibility in our manufacturing process very seriously. We use recycled poly lining made from recycled PET plastic bottles, natural and organic fabrics as much as possible, and recycle every single fabric scrap to FabScrap. We produce locally by making our garments in our Brooklyn studio, eliminating transport of goods. By making our gowns to order, we avoid overproduction, one of the biggest issues of the garment industry. We ship plastic free. We can go on and on and on!
Where is a Loulette Bride gown made?
Brooklyn, baby!
All Loulette Bride gowns are made in our Brooklyn studio, right where you come in for your appointment! Pattern grading, button making, and all that good stuff are all done right here in New York City to support our local Garment District.
If I don't live in NYC, where can I find Loulette Bride?
All Over the place!
Loulette Bride is available at a constantly growing number to retailers worldwide! Check out our list of Loulette Bride Retailers to find the closest one to you!
If we do not yet have a retailer in your area, please reach out to us, and we can work with a local bridal shop to send a specific style gown for you to try on.
